🔥 Let’s Cook – Step-by-Step Fire Noodles

✅ Step 1: Boil the noodles

In a saucepan, boil water and add the noodles. Cook them until they are about 80% done – slightly undercooked so they stay firm when stir-fried later.

Boil the noodles until they’re just 80% cooked.

✅ Step 2: Make the fire sauce

In a small frying pan or wok, melt the butter (or heat the oil).
Add crushed garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Now add green chilli paste, soy sauce, red chilli flakes, chilli garlic sauce or gochujang, and sugar. Stir well and let it simmer for 1 minute.

Pan with garlic, chili paste, and sauces bubbling in melted butter, the base for fire noodles, with warm lighting.
Melt butter and sauté garlic, chili paste, and sauces to build a rich, spicy base.

✅ Step 3: Mix it up!

Drain the noodles and add them directly into the sauce pan. Toss everything together using tongs or a fork — let the noodles soak up all that spicy, garlicky flavor.

Optional: Add a tablespoon of water if the sauce feels too dry.

Now toss the noodles into the spicy sauce and stir-fry until every strand is fully coated. The glossy red color is pure flavor!

✅ Step 4: Make it cheesy (optional but amazing!)

If you love that creamy, stretchy cheese touch — sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the hot noodles, cover with a lid, and let it melt for 1-2 minutes. Then stir again.
The combo of fire + cheese = addictively good.

✅ Step 5: Garnish & Serve

Top with chopped spring onions, maybe a sprinkle of sesame seeds if you have them, and serve hot.

Serve with chopsticks, fork, or straight from the pan — no rules!

💡 Pro Tips from SpoonAura

✅ No Gochujang? Use Chilli Garlic Sauce + a pinch of smoked paprika (if you have it).
✅ Too Spicy? Add 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise or 1 tbsp milk to cool it down.
✅ Make it fancy: Add boiled eggs, sautéed veggies, or grilled chicken on top.
✅ Make it desi: Add a few drops of lemon juice and chopped coriander — trust me!
