💡 Cooking Tips

Always soak the rice before boiling — it helps keep the grains long and fluffy.

You can use store-bought fried onions to save time.

No garam masala? Use a little allspice and cumin instead.

If you’re short on time, skip the layering and just mix the rice directly — still delicious!

❓ FAQs – You Asked, SpoonAura Answers!

Q1: Can I use boneless chicken?

Yes! Boneless chicken cooks faster and is great for easy biryani.

Q2: What if I don’t have basmati rice?

You can use any long-grain rice, but basmati gives the best aroma and look.

Q3: Can I make this in a rice cooker or Instant Pot?

Yes, absolutely! Just sauté the chicken masala, then layer rice and switch to rice mode. Perfect one-pot meal.

Q4: How to make it less spicy for kids?

Use half the red chili powder or skip it completely. You can add more yogurt to keep it creamy.

Q5: How long can I store it?

This biryani stays fresh in the fridge for 2–3 days. Reheat with a splash of water on low flame.
