Craving something creamy but don’t want to use heavy cream?

Let me show you how to make a rich and delicious 😋 chicken pasta — without using a single drop of cream..

This recipe is a favorite in my house, especially on lazy weeknights.

It’s light, tasty, and surprisingly easy to whip up with pantry staples.

🛒 Ingredients:

200g pasta (penne or spaghetti)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chopped garlic

200g chicken (thin strips)

1 tbsp flour (maida)

1 cup milk

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: oregano, chili flakes.

👩‍🍳 Cooking process:

1. Boil the pasta as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside.

Save a cup of the starchy pasta water — it’s gold!

2. Heat oil in a pan.

Add garlic and let it release its aroma (just 10 seconds is enough).

3. Toss in chicken strips and cook until light golden.

Sprinkle salt and pepper. This adds depth to the flavor.

4. Lower the flame and add 1 tbsp flour.

Stir quickly for 30 seconds — this forms the base of your creamy sauce.

5.Slowly add the milk and keep stirring

The sauce will begin to thicken — magic!

Adjust seasoning and add herbs if desired.

6. Mix in your cooked pasta.

If it feels too thick, splash in some pasta water.

7. Serve hot.

Top with a little grated cheese or herbs — but honestly, it’s perfect even without
